Admission Timeline for the 2025-26 School Year
Year-Round:
School tours, testing, classroom visits, and interviews are available by appointment. Please contact the Admissions Director, Ms. Jori Sapper at 703-256-3620, or admissions@westminsterschool.com.
Testing, classroom visits and interviews take place. Testing of prospective KG – 2nd Grade students takes place on campus, by appointment with the admissions office. The SSAT and ISEE are accepted for students applying to grades 3-7. Westminster School does not consider applicants for 8th grade.
October 3, 2024:
In-Person Open House @ 9:00am – A wonderful opportunity to see the school day in action, meet with the admissions team and teachers, learn more about the curriculum and culture of the school, and get your questions answered.
October 16, 2024:
Virtual Open House @ 4:00pm – An opportunity to meet with the admissions team, learn more about the curriculum and culture of the school, and get your questions answered.
November 1, 2024:
Applications are accepted for the 2025-2026 school year.
November 5, 2024:

January 9, 2025:

February 2025:
Candidates are encouraged to submit all application materials by this date, including student records, teacher recommendations, testing requirements, and other supporting documents.
March 2025:
First round notification letters are sent to candidates who have completed the admissions process by February 17.
April 30, 2025:
Enrollment Contract becomes binding; first tuition payment due.
March – August 2025:
Applications received during this time will be considered on a rolling basis, where space permits. Contact our admissions office for more information about current availability in a particular grade.
